Our best-selling Gloss Wood Finishing Wax is the perfect way to give your woodturning a showroom-quality finish. Creating a super-tough gloss coating when it is dry, this wax is formulated with carnauba and microcrystalline waxes.
With its unique texture, this wax goes on thinner than you expect, which means you need less of it to get a great finish. And, it’s virtually odorless, so you can work in peace. Use our gloss wood wax to polish your pieces to perfection! We also have coloured waxes.

Sand piece immaculately down to at least 400 grit;
For best results, apply sanding sealer and burnish when dry;
Evenly apply a light coat of the wax with a soft paper towel;
Allow to dry a little and then buff. (Drying times vary, depending on ambient temperature and humidity;
Apply additional coats for a deeper shine.

Use for the finishing of decorative and functional wood-turned items on a lathe. It can also be used on ‘flat’ woodwork using a polishing mop to buff. On finished items, avoid contact with water.

Creamy yellow in the tin. Characteristic aroma of solvents and waxes.

Store in a cool, dry place, ideally between 10° and 30°C (50° and 90°F) Where possible. Protect from extreme heat and freezing. Keep out of direct sunlight.

Kept according to instructions, you can expect the product to last around two years from opening, depending on how often it is used.
